PF Calculator
Estimate your Provident Fund (PF) corpus at retirement based on your contributions and expected growth.
About the PF Calculator
The Provident Fund (PF), formally known as the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), is a mandatory retirement savings scheme for salaried employees in India. It's a vital tool for building a retirement corpus. This calculator helps you forecast your total PF balance at the time of your retirement.
How PF Contributions Work
Your PF account grows through monthly contributions from both you and your employer, along with annual interest.
- Employee's Contribution: 12% of your Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance (DA) is contributed to your PF account.
- Employer's Contribution: Your employer matches the 12% contribution. This is divided into:
- 8.33% towards the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) (up to a wage ceiling).
- The remaining 3.67% goes into your PF account.
This calculator projects the growth of your PF account balance, which forms a significant part of your retirement funds.

Yes, partial withdrawal of PF is permitted for specific reasons such as buying a home, medical emergencies, or for a child's marriage or education, provided you meet certain criteria.
What is a UAN?
The Universal Account Number (UAN) is a unique number for all employees enrolled in the PF scheme. It links multiple Member IDs allotted to a single individual by different employers, making it easier to manage and transfer your PF balance when you change jobs.
